Wexford Opera trip

Weekend away at the Wexford Opera Friday 26th October – 28th October 2018

Following on from the wonderful Wexford Opera festival with Tara Erraught 2016 in the Künstlerhaus, the Irish business network e.V proudly announces a trip to the Wexford Opera.

The tickets of Wexford Opera 2018 opera go on sale 1st May. Richard Devereux, a Wexford local based in Munich, has organized an option for a group to  get up to 15 tickets in advance. The tickets are like hot potatoes, so we thought it was a good idea to extend to the Irish and friends of Ireland who enjoy Opera in Germany.

For Opera lovers who want to join a weekend full of Opera in a beautiful setting and looking to enjoy imagine enjoying an Irish welcome, this weekend is one not to be missed.

Saturday  27th October

Die Welt in November 2016 published a very positive review of the Wexford Festival Opera: It begins by drawing a favourable comparison between Wexford and the Salzburger Festspiele, saying that in Wexford Opera is blossoming in an exquisite new, if already eight year old theatre, artistically brilliant and supported by a loyal, enthusiastic audience. The article also mentions the cooperation with the Theater Oldenburg on Donizetti’s “Margherita” that was performed in 2017 before giving brief
positive mentions to each of this year’s main stage operas.

This trip is facilitated by Richard Devereux and Ann Dempsey and promoted by the Irish Business Network e.V
