Disruptive Technologies and the Effects on Local Marketing

 

In 2017 the International Business Council Munich (IBCM) was launched, a business networking forum that brings together members of 16 international business organizations active in the Munich area. The IBCM’s mission: “To combine the strengths of the participating IBCM groups in joining for business events of mutual interest and in addressing topics of common interest.  An umbrella organization, the IBCM provides an organizational interface, supports the sharing of ideas, facilitates making new business contacts, and stimulates learning.”

We are holding our IBCM Kick-Off Event at the Marriott Hotel on Tuesday, 13th March. The event will feature Keynote Speaker Dr. Wolfgang Hübschle, Executive Director, Invest in Bavaria. After Wolfgang’s address, each IBCM organization will provide a 2-minute elevator speech on its group’s key features and upcoming events, followed by a brief Q&A session. Afterwards we will enjoy a buffet dinner with networking in the foyer. In parallel members of each organization will be available in Salon C/D for informal discussions on their respective groups.

Time:   Registration starts 1830; meeting at 1900, buffet dinner around 2030 with networking running until around 2230.

Cost:     EUR 30.00 members and guests welcome (incl. Buffet Dinner and one drink). Please bring cash to pay at registration.

Transport: Google Munich is a seven-minute walk away from either the S-Bahn Station Hackerbrücke or the S-Bahn Station Donnersberger Brücke.

The nearest Tram-Station is Marsstraße (Tram 16/17), with a five-minute walk to the office building.

Arrival by Car (not recommended): Please note, there is NO car parking near the office! There is a public car park at the ZOB, close to Hackerbrücke as well as another car park underneath the Donnersberger Brücke, both a seven minute walk away from the office building.

The IBN chapter Munich is delighed to extend an invitation to our members and the members from the International business clubs in Munich.

The special guest of the evening is a Norah Casey, a Dragon from the Irish TV Show ‘Dragons’ Den’ to Munich on the 3rd July.

Norah Casey is a broadcaster, a well-known radio and television personality, and the owner and Chairwoman of Harmonia, Ireland’s largest magazine publishing company, which owns Irish Tatler as well as other well-known magazines.
