Munich Irish Network: German Irish identity discussion

Munich harbours one of the larger Irish communities in Germany. There minare many people here of Irish origin who have chosen to live and work in and around the Bavarian capital. Like myself many have spent most of their adult lives here. Although the experience of translocation is not by any means uniquely Irish, we do feel there is a special German Irish connection.
The Munich Irish Network invites anyone interested in discussing aspects of German Irish Identity to an evening with the writer Hugo Hamilton in the Literaturhaus München on Tuesday the 9th of November 2010 at 7.30 pm.
Tickets, 10,- € each, are available in O’Leary’s Irish Shop, Müllerstrasse 37, 80469 München or by contacting me at the address below.
Early reservation is advisable as seats are limited.
